Looking for a Preschool in Boca Raton?
Why should I choose the best preschool and day care in Boca Raton for my child?
As parents, we want the best for our children and we feel that if you live in Boca Raton we are the best preschool option for your child. We are located in Coconut Creek, just a few minutes away from Boca Raton. Here are more reasons why you should consider Providence Children’s Academy as your preschool in Boca Raton:
Curriculum Based Preschool
We use a curriculum-based methodology that is more of hands on. So, children are learning through play and everything is through process. The children actually get to sit and paint the paper white, and make them to cut the sheet out. So, everything is done through the child.
Why is that important?
Other preschools in Boca Raton use things like giving instructions on how to cut out a square. The teacher will give them a ready neat square and have them cut it out. Where with us, we’re having them to draw the square they’re cutting out. And within our curriculum, we’re turning every piece, every activity into a learning experience. So, we’re putting math in there, because we’re going to say how many sides are in that square and how they equal. We’re giving them vocabulary, so it turns into literacy. Each domain is on each activity. So, we hit all areas (literacy, math, science, etc.).
We’re concentrating on individualized learning by Kinaesthetic teaching with their hands on. Some learn through listening, some learn through hands on, writing things like that. So, we’re covering each learner because some will learn through hands on, sight, hearing, etc.
Family Owned & Operated
The school is managed and operated by its owners (husband, wife and son).
Why is that important?
In my experience, when you own something, you take care of it in a much better way than someone who just works there. We are 1000% committed to the success of the children.
Rated as one of the best schools in Coconut Creek
Our parent school scored a 79, which is a very high for the school, for the first year 2010-2011. So, those children that came to our school came from other pre-schools. We have them in our 3-year-old program, and the older 3-year program, the children that are now in my program that have been in the 3-year-old program and graduated to VPK are now reading this year.
Small summer camp classes
We have a bus that fits 44 children and we cannot accept more than 44 children. Most schools have 100, 120, to 140 children.
Playground (No wood mulch)
Our school uses rubber material on the playground. Most schools use wood mulch, which can get into their kids’ hands when they are playing off if they fall. Our surface is about 2.5 inches thick, made out of rubber, making it a very soft surface and secure for the children.
Emergency preparedness equipped
Our school installed a fully-integrated intercom system. If there ever was an incident, which we highly doubt there ever would be, the children are instructed to go to one space in the classroom all together. So if anybody went into that room, it would be very difficult to notice them because they’ve been taught to hide and be very quiet.

We would like to invite people to come in and take a tour of our preschool in the Boca Raton area.
